About the Role
Produce high-quality animations for games using Blender.
Perform rigging and/or skinning of characters.
Research, learn, and implement new ways to improve the existing animation pipeline.
Import characters and animations into Unity while maintaining its integrity between Blender and Unity.
Collaborate with Art, Design, and Engineering departments to define, implement and improve animations.
Come up with concepts, suggestions, and references to easily convey ideas to team members.
Play an important role in review cycles, both in providing feedback on animations and self-improvement based on feedback from your team.
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a game animator. Understands and has experience bringing characters and inanimate objects to life through excellent animation skills.
Knows Unity’s animation pipeline in and out. Has experience creating and importing animations in Unity and setup with Animation Controller.
Knows how to rig and skin characters.
Plays video games and has a passion for game development.
Is proactive and has attention to detail.
Great problem-solving skills.
Knows how to handle constructive criticism and incorporate feedback.
Has experience working with cross-functional teams. Understand how to translate design requirements into animation and ensure it works as intended with the help of developers.
